Born in 1956 in Athens, Greece, Makis Papageorgiou graduated from the Experimental School of the University of Athens (Peiramatiko) and obtained a Law Degree from the University of Thessaloniki. After a degree in Business Administration he obtained an MBA from Bentley University in Boston, Ma., USA. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of Public Gas Corporation (DEPA) SA in December 2005, he worked for more than ten years in several senior positions and as General Manager in various companies of the private sector in Greece and abroad mainly within the auto industry and the publishing and retail industry. From June 2004 till December 2005 he was the Managing Director of Suburban Railroad SA. He joined DEPA in December 2005 as Managing Director and from May 31, 2006 until December 16, 2009 as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO. From 2010 he worked as a consultant for Business Investments. He served as Deputy Section Head for Energy within the political party of New Democracy and on June 21 2012 he was appointed Deputy Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change. Makis Papageorgiou is a father of four children. He is fluent in English and during his leisure time he enjoys sports, cinema and theatre. 

Arthouros Zervos is a Professor at the National Technical University of Athens and presently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Public Power Corporation - Greece as well as Chairman of the Public Power Corporation Renewables in Greece, both since 2009.

Professor Zervos has more than 30 years of high level expertise in policy, science, research and technology across the renewable energy sector. He led key European renewable energy bodies and has acted as policy advisor to Governments, EU bodies and policy fora. He is Chairman of Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21). He has been President of the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) from 2001 to 2013, President of the European Renewable Energy Council (EREC) from 2000 to 2012 and President of the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) from 2005 to 2010.

In 1974 he received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering, in 1975 his Master of Science in Engineering, both from the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Sciences of Princeton University, U.S.A. He continued his studies at the Universite P.et M.Curie in Paris, where he took his Diplome d'Etudes Approfondies (D.E.A) de Mecanique Experimentale des Fluides- Aerodynamique in 1978 and his Diplome de Docteur - Ingenieur in 1981.

From 1990 to 1995 he worked as a scientific officer in the Renewable Energy Unit of DG Research of the European Commission in Brussels. He is the author of more than 180 publications in international magazines and conference proceedings. He was the lead author of the White Paper on Renewable Sources of Energy for the EC in 1997.

He was born in Athens in 1957. In 1980 he graduated as a Civil Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens.
His involvement with TERNA S.A. started in 1981. Between 1982 and 1984 he was the Construction Manager in important Hydraulics and Railway projects.
In 1984 he became Chairman and Managing Director of TERNA S.A. 
He has also been greatly active in the fields of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) since 1997. Indeed, since 2000 he has been Chairman of the Hellenic Association of Renewable Energy Electricity Producers. This Association is one of the founders and member of the Board of Directors of the corresponding European Renewable Energies Federation - EREF.

Konstantinos D. Ksifaras is a Production and Management Engineer specialized in Operational Research. He has extended experience as a researcher and business consultant.
 
He has served as Special Advisor to the Leadership of the Ministries of Development (2005-2006) and the Environment, Energy and Climate Change (2013). He has also served as Director of the Office of the Deputy Minister of Development, Competitiveness, Infrastructure, Transport and Networks, competent for the management of the implementation and the funds absorption of NSRF 2007-2013, as well as, the design of the new programming period 2014-2020. He is Vice President of the National Association of Production Engineering & Management and held until recently the position of the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Technical Chamber of Greece / Department of Western Crete. He is fluent in English.

Dr. Michael Thomadakis is Member of the Board of RAE-Greece's Regulatory Authority for Energy. He is also Elected Chairman of the Gas Working Group of the Energy Community Regulatory Board and the Chairman of the Investment Group of the Energy Charter Conference. He has extensive experience in international affairs, regulation of gas and electricity markets, long-term energy planning and management. Before joining RAE, Dr Thomadakis was responsible for the administration of DEPA's (Public Gas Corporation of Greece) gas supply contracts, development and administration of time charter agreements for LNG transportation. He also participated in gas price negotiations and in the development of gas pricing policies. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from National Technical University of Athens (1986) and a PhD from the same University (1992) and has worked as senior research engineer in the Mechanical Engineering Department of University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology from 1993 to 1995. He has published more than 25 papers in scientific journals and scientific conferences.

Post doctorate at Laboratory of Thermal Turbomachines of NTUA (1987 - 1994). Research Engineer in the Wind Energy Dept. of the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources (CRES), as head of the modelling group (1994-1998). Director of the Renewable Energy Sources Division, of CRES (6/98-today). 55 Research associates working in the fields of Wind Energy, Biomass, PV Systems & Distributed Generation, Small Hydro, Geothermal, Solar Thermal and Hydrogen technologies. Head of the Greek RES Office (2010-2011).

Thirty year experience in R&D projects funded by the E.U., the European Industry and the Greek State. Participation in more than 40 research programs (co-ordinator of six of them). Last twenty five years working in the fields of horizontal axis wind turbines aeroelasticity and complex terrain wind field modelling. More than 150 Journal and peer reviewed Conference publications, co-editor of two books on optimum aerodynamic design. Member of the Greek delegation in the European Framework Programmes (FP5, FP6, FP7, Horizon 2020) Energy Committee (2000 - today). President of European Academy for Wind Energy www.eawe.eu (2006-2007). Vice-Chairman of the European Wind Energy Technology Platform www.windplatform.eu (2007-2012). Greek Representative in the SET-Plan Steering Group (2008-today). EAWE Scientific Award 2010. Aiolos Award 2013 (Greek Wind Energy Association).

Panayotis Kanellopoulos is the CEO of M&M Gas Co S.A., a corporation founded in August 2010, by Mytilineos Holdings S.A. and Motor Oil Hellas (Corinth Refineries) S.A. Panayotis is responsible for the leadership of M&M of which scope is to source and provide secure and competitive Natural Gas supplies to both the shareholders' affiliate companies as well as to serve eligible customers in the Greek Market. Panayotis joined Mytilineos Group in 2010, as executive director being responsible for the natural gas activities of the group leading the efforts for the import of the first private LNG cargo in the Greek market. Previously he was CEO of the Hellenic Natural Gas Transmission System Operator (DESFA) where he initiated the efforts and set up the basis for the open up of the Greek natural gas market. Prior to his role with DESFA, Panayotis was CEO of the Athens Electrical Buses where under his leadership the company achieved high operational and service standards while at the same time rationalised its cost structure. Earlier in his career, Panayotis for more than 11 years held various positions ranging from Sales Manager to Supply Chain Manager in MOBIL  and BP Hellas gaining management experience in both sales and operations in the national and international energy sector. He started his professional career with Greek Public Gas Corporation (DEPA) where he acquired valuable experience of the Greek natural gas market. He holds an engineering degree from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, an M.Sc. from Imperial College, London, UK and an MBA  from ALBA, Greece.

Thierry Bros was appointed Senior European Gas and LNG Analyst for Société Générale's Commodities team in 2010, having joined the group in 2007 as a Senior Financial Analyst to provide recommendations on listed pan-European gas stocks and in-depth research on gas issues. Thierry covered the gas chain from upstream to downstream with BG Group, Centrica, Enagas, Gas Natural, Gazprom, GDF SUEZ and Snam. 

From 2002 to 2007, Thierry was a Senior Oil & Gas expert at the French Ministère de l'Economie des Finances et de l'Industrie, where he represented France on oil markets and advised on emergency issues at the International Energy Agency (Paris), the European Commission and the Energy Charter (Brussels). His responsibilities included providing global oil and gas industry reviews to senior French officials and negotiating European directives. As a gas specialist, he reviewed the regulations governing the opening up and liberalisation of the French gas market and supervised the Contingency Gas Plan.

Prior to that, Thierry was, for six years, Head of Internal Communications at IFPEN, an oil & gas research institute. Since 2011, Thierry has also regularly chaired sessions at the United Nations Gas Centre (Geneva).

Dr. Bros is also a visiting faculty professor at several universities and a speaker at international conferences on gas-related subjects. He is the author of the book "After the US shale gas revolution" published, in 2012, by Editions Technip.

In  December 2012, Thierry was appointed as a member of the EU-Russia Gas Advisory Council which provides recommendations on long-term gas cooperation to the Russian Federation Minister of Energy and the European Commissioner for Energy.
