The Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, Antonis C. Samaras gave the closing remarks at the exclusive conference dinner, whereas the Deputy Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, Mr. Makis Papageorgiou gave the keynote speech. Dr. Kostas Andriosopoulos, Executive Director of the Energy Management Centre (EMC), welcomed more than 400 participants at the conference.
The event was jointly organised by the EMC at ESCP Business School and the Greek Energy Forum (GEF), under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, Hellenic Republic.
'The Future of Greek Gas and Power Markets: Looking ahead with optimism and realism' conference took place on 29 April, 2014 in Athens, Greece. The meeting brought together government representatives, international organisations, financial institutions, energy corporations, and top energy experts for the discussion of current and future challenges and opportunities of Greek Gas and Power Markets.
