Editorial
We’re pleased to report a highly dynamic first trimester, marked by engaging events with leading industry organisations and a visit to the Fields Farm solar site in Warwickshire.
Over the past months, we welcomed speakers from Eurelectric, Bloomberg, the International Hydropower Association, and Engie. They shared perspectives on the evolution of Europe’s and the global power sector, the growing role of data in energy and commodities markets, and the strategic importance of hydropower in modern systems. These sessions provided our students with first-hand insight into an industry undergoing rapid transformation.
These exchanges continue to strengthen the link between academic learning and real-world application—a distinctive approach at the heart of ESCP’s energy management programmes. More details on these activities can be found below.
Upcoming Event:
Watts & Waves Forum: Taking place on 27 April in Paris and jointly organised by the ESCP Energy Society and ESCP Alumni, with the support of the Energy Management Centre, this event will explore the Water–Energy Nexus and its critical role in the energy transition, bringing together perspectives from policy, industry, and innovation to examine how water constraints intersect with energy transition objectives and how practical, scalable solutions can be delivered. More details will be announced soon.
