MSc in Energy Management

The MSc in Energy Management (MEM) at ESCP Business School is an 18-month, full-time postgraduate programme for those aiming towards a career in the energy sector. Taught in London and Paris, it provides students with a holistic, 360-degree view of the energy business.

Objectives of the Programme

The MSc in Energy Management provides students with a holistic, 360-degree view of the energy business.

The programme covers renewable and alternative energy, electricity markets and oil business, as well as gas and LNG markets, focusing on enabling participants with the essential toolkit to manage real-life energy projects as the industry enters a transition period. 

It provides students with the ability to develop and implement strategies to address major issues in energy regulation and policy, and to understand the energy business environment and its fundamental economic and technological concepts. 

The MSc in Energy Management is supported by specialist faculty industry professionals, as well as our London-based Energy Management Centre (EMC). Taught at the London and Paris campuses, the programme offers a unique opportunity to explore the global energy scene while studying in the two essential energy hubs in Europe. 

 

Career Opportunities

The programme has a holistic approach that will prepare you for a variety of careers related to the energy industry in the areas of consultancy/project management, finance and investment banking, trading, risk management, market/business analysis, brokering, operations and more.

Graduates have gone on to work in companies such as E.ON, Total, EDF, Engie, Schlumberger and Wood Mackenzie.

Accreditations

This programme is accredited by the French Conférence des Grandes Écoles.

In December 2020, ESCP Business School’s MSc in Energy Management (MEM) Programme gained accreditation from Energy Institute.

 

 Since 2017, the MSc in Energy Management is accredited by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, as an ERP Academic Partner.

Fees & Financials

Fees

  • Tuition fees for the September 2021 intake of this programme are set at £21,850 (all students, EU and non-EU). Travel and accommodation costs are not covered by the fees.
  • There is an application fee of £130 for all applicants. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable.
  • Candidates who apply by 12th January 2021 are eligible for an Early Bird Discount of £2,000.

Tuition fees may be subject to change.

ESCP Scholarships

Every year, the MSc in Energy Management programme offers several Access Opportunity scholarships to support our student journeys to becoming the energy leaders of tomorrow.

  • Value: Up to £5,000
  • Eligibility criteria: The scholarship is open to all self-funding applicants for the September 2021 intake of the MSc in Energy Management programme

Once offered a place to study on the programme, you will have several weeks to submit an application form outlining your current financial situation and how obtaining our Access Opportunity Scholarship will help you in your intended career path.

FUNED-CONACYT Scholarship for Mexican students

FUNED-CONACYT provide a 20% tuition fee scholarship for Mexican students who wish to pursue their master degree abroad in top-ranked universities. Please note that this scholarship cannot be cumulative with ESCP Scholarships.
